Crafting with my niece and nephew is one of my favorite activities and when we create a family keepsake, our time spent together is that much more precious. This quick and easy no sew Falling Leaves Felt Table Runner is perfect to decorate the Thanksgiving Table not only for this year, but years to come!

YOU WILL NEED:
- Kunin Classics™ Felt 9” x 12” Craft Cuts – Sandstone, Olive, Orange, Gold, Golden Rod, Prickly Purple, Pumpkin Spice, Walnut Brown, Cashmere Tan, Kelly Green
- Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint by I Love To Create – Copper, Silver, Orange and Brown
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Plain Paper
- Pencil
- Permanent Marker or Straight Pins
- Scissors
- LEAF PATTERNS
STEP ONE:
Download and print leaf patterns HERE. Cut out leaf patterns with scissors. Attach patterns to felt with straight pins and cut out with scissors. I selected 10 colors of Kunin Felt Craft Cuts for my table, but you can add additional leaves to your runner if your table is larger than mine.
STEP TWO:
Draw leaf veins on each felt cut out with dimensional fabric paint. I selected copper, silver, orange, brown and applied a light paint to dark felt and a dark paint to light felt. This contrast provides a real wow factor. Use real leaves for realistic inspiration. Set aside to let the fabric paint dry.
STEP THREE:
Attach leaves, starting in the center by overlapping the bottoms of two leaves together with a glue gun. Continue to create the falling leaves felt table runner by attaching the top of one leaf to the bottom of the next until all leaves have been used.
