YOU WILL NEED:
- Kunin© Classic™ Felt Craft Cuts 9” by 12”– Gold, Peacock, Candy Pink, Neon Green
- Craft Foam Letters, Self-Adhesive
- Black Marker
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Scissors
- ICE POP HOLDER PATTERNS
INSTRUCTIONS:
Download, print and then cut out the ICE POP HOLDER PATTERNS with scissors.
Trace ice pop holder pattern onto Kunin© Classic™ Felt Candy Pink, Gold, Peacock, and Neon Green with a marker. Let the kiddos select their favorite colors of Kunin© Classic™ Felt for a custom project.
Cut out the ice pop holder patterns with scissors, cutting inside the traced lines, so you have a clean finished project. The younger kiddos might need some help with the cutting.
Fold each ice pop holder in half vertically, securing the side and bottom seams with a glue gun and glue sticks. Hot or Low Temp will work for this project. You can also use liquid fabric glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
Leaving the adhesive backing paper on the foam letters, dry fit the words onto the ice pop holders. Use fun words like SUMMER, CHILLIN’, or COOL. Customize the holders with the kiddos’ names.
When you are pleased with the composition, remove the paper backing and attach each letter to the ice pop holder.
Here are the four completed ice pop holders that we made in just about 30 minutes. Use the shapes included on the pattern sheet to further personalize the holders, or have the kids cut out their own shapes.
