YOU WILL NEED:
- Kunin© Classic™ Felt Craft Cuts 9” by 12”– Candy Pink, Red, Tomato Red, Neon Green, Olive, Pirate Green, Apple Green, Walnut
- Wiggle Eyes
- Permanent Marker – Black
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Scissors – Regular and Detail
- Pencils
- APPLE PENCIL TOPPERS PATTERN SHEET
INSTRUCTIONS:
To begin the apple pencil toppers, gather all supplies. Download, print and cut out the apple pieces from the pattern sheet. Trace the apple patterns twice onto Kunin© Classic™ Red, Tomato Red, Apple Green, and Neon Green Felt with a black marker. One apple for the front and a second apple for the back.
STEP 1
Cut out the pairs of apple patterns with scissors. Remember to cut inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project.
To create cheeks, cut a strip of Kunin© Classic™ Candy Pink Felt approximately ½” wide. Cut into squares and then trim the squares into circles. Cut a total of eight cheeks.
STEP 2
Assemble the faces on the apples. Attach two wiggle eyes and two cheeks with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Trace apple stem pattern onto Kunin© Classic™ Walnut Felt four times. Cut out with scissors and attach to the top back center of each apple with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP 3
Trace the leaf pattern twice onto Kunin© Classic™ Olive and Pirate Green with a black marker, then cut out with scissors.
Attach the leaves to the top front center of each apple with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP 4
To finish each apple face, draw a smile from cheek to cheek with a permanent black marker.
Attach the two apple shapes together with a glue gun and glue sticks, leaving a ½” wide opening at the bottom for the pencil
STEP 5
Trim any uneven parts of the felt apple pencil toppers with scissors.
