Good Vibes Greeting Card

Hello Crafters!

I am very excited to share a fun greeting card this month as we kick off the summer months.   I know that many of us are spending more time at home, and hopefully more time crafting too!   I created a quick greeting card with a very happy message of “GOOD VIBES”.

Time:  30-40 minutes

Skill Level:  Beginner

YOU WILL NEED:

Product:  9″ x 12″ craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt in Red, Orange, Yellow, Pirate Green, Brilliant Blue, Bright Lilac

Optional:   Basic Shapes Sizzix XL die cut and Big Shot Cutting System

5” by 7” white card

Tacky Glue

Sharp scissors

STEP ONE

Begin by die cutting your felt pieces.   I used my Sizzix Big Shot and the Lemonade XL Bigx dies to cut my letters.  If you do not have a die cutting system, you can hand cut these pieces to make the letters for “GOOD VIBES”.  If you are cutting by hand, I would suggest that you start with the easier letters with straight cuts to get a feel for cutting the felt.  

STEP TWO

Align the felt letters on the white card.   I centered the letters on my card, but you can decide what you like best.

STEP THREE

Next, begin to adhere one letter at a time with Tacky Glue.   You can simply dot the back of the felt letters and then gently place it down on the card and press it in with you index finger.   TIP:   This is the part of the craft that takes some patience, so be sure to carefully use the glue and adhere the letter with care.

Once you are done, let the glue dry for about 20 minutes and then you can write on it to send to a dear friend.   Your friend will be so excited to get this unique card wishing them GOOD VIBES!
