My daughter and I spent a festive afternoon crafting Ugly Christmas Sweaters from felt. It’s an easy project for the kids to do as it requires no sewing and lots of imagination! Put on some Christmas music and get to work!

Supplies

  • 9″ x 12″ craft cuts of Kunin Classicfelt™ and Eco-fi® Printzfelt™ in a variety of holiday colors.
  • Holiday and Winter themed novelty buttons and other holiday-themed embellishments.
  • Craft glue
  • Baker’s twine
  • Ugly Christmas Sweater Pattern by Laura Bray Designs

Instructions:

1.) Cut out the sweater shape from the pattern. Pin it onto felt and cut. Cut two sweater shapes per ornament. This gives the ornament a sturdy base.

2.) Glue the two sides sweater pieces together. Make sure you insert a length of baker’s twine or ribbon between the pieces to use as a hanger!
