We are very happy to welcome back Chad Boender to the classroom this week! His kindergarten class is always doing something fun and creative.
Christmas is just around the corner and you know what that means – Christmas decorations! Your kids or students will love these DIY Christmas felt trees. These felt trees are easy prep for all teachers and parents, and they are kid-approved, too! This holiday season, decorate your home or classroom with some Christmas flare with these DIY Christmas felt trees!
You Will Need:
- 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™: Kelly Green
- 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™: Green
- 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™: Brown
- Small pom poms, sequins, or other craft materials
Using 9″ x 12” craft cuts of Kunin Classicfelt™ cut out triangles in various sizes and colors. Cut out the base of the tree using 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™ in brown. Add a dot of glue to the top of the tree trunk.
Adhere the tree trunk to the base of the tree.
My students used 9″ x 12” craft cuts of Kunin Classicfelt™ in green and Kelly green. I let them choose the color of felt based on their preference.
Using small pom poms, sequins, or other craft supplies, have your students decorate the tree to their liking. This is a great way for students to be creative and make their tree unique.
These Christmas felt trees are the perfect addition to any classroom or home! Add string to the back of your Christmas felt tree to make it an ornament. This craft is the perfect Christmas gift for friends, family, or relatives!
You can now find an expanded color line of Kunin Eco-fi Classicfelt; Eco-fiPlus™ Premiumfelt and ShaggiChic non-wovens fabrics in cut by the yard at your local Walmart; please inquire as to what is available in your area.
