Use your Ellison Superstar Machine to die cut your Sizzix Bigz XL Die – Banner, Ribbon die in Kunin® Classic Felt 9” x 12” of yellow, black, and candy pink and 9” x 12” craft cut of Kunin Corduroy™ in charcoal and sandstone. In this tutorial we will cut portions of each color to create your DIY pencil banner!

Cut a 1.5-inch strip from the top portion of the candy pink felt banner and a 1-inch strip from the top portion of the Kunin Corduroy™ charcoal felt banner. This will create the eraser portion of our pencil. Adhere both pieces to the top of the yellow felt banner using hot glue or felt glue.

Cut the bottom triangles off the Kunin Corduroy™ sandstone felt banner and the bottom triangles off the black felt pennant banner. These pieces will create the lead portion of the pencil. Adhere both triangle pieces to the bottom of the yellow felt banner using hot glue or felt glue.

Determine what you want your pennant banner to say and cut out letters using your Silhouette Cameo Machine. Adhere the letters to your DIY pencil pennant banner.

Hang your DIY pencil pennant banner from jute cord with small clothespins! This back-to-school pencil pennant banner is the perfect addition to any classroom and your students will love it, too!
