YOU WILL NEED:
- Kunin® Classics™ Felt 9” x 12” Craft Cuts – Brilliant Blue (3) and Apple Green (2)
- Joy® Embroidered and Iron-On Letters
- Tombow MONOTWIN Permanent Marker
- Tombow MONO Removeable Adhesive Runner
- Beacon Adhesives Felt Glue
- Scissors
- Iron and Ironing Board
- Ruler
- Ribbon – Gross-Grain one-inch wide, Black
- Heart Shaped Earth Day Banner Patterns
STEP ONE
Download, print and cut out the Heart Shaped Earth Day Banner Patterns HERE. Trace the heart shaped base pattern on to Brilliant Blue Kunin Felt four times with the permanent marker and then cut out with scissors. TIP: Remember to cut inside the traced lines for a clean finished project!
STEP TWO
Rough cut the earth shapes from the paper pattern, apply removable adhesive runner to the back and then adhere to Apple Green Kunin Felt. Fussy cut with sharp scissors. Apply additional removeable adhesive and repeat above steps three more times.
STEP THREE
Attach the earth sections to the ocean sections with Beacon Felt Glue, and then set aside to dry.
STEP FOUR
Select the letters needed from the Joy Embroidered Letter Sheets to spell out the message EARTH DAY EVERY DAY. Iron the letters onto the banner sections according to the directions on the package.
STEP FIVE
To finish, measure and cut a 48-inch length of gross-grain ribbon and fold in half to mark the center and create a loop for hanging. Attach Heart Shaped Earth Day Banner sections to ribbon with Beacon Felt Glue leaving a one-inch space in between. Set aside to dry.
