Whether you’re studying pumpkins, learning about fall, or just love everything pumpkin related, this DIY kid’s felt pumpkin labeling craft is the perfect craft to teach your students how to label the parts of a pumpkin! Let’s grab our supplies and get started!

You Will Need:
- 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™ in Pirate Green, Orange, and Pumpkin Spice
- Green pipe cleaner
- Orange glitter glue (optional)
- Jute cord
- FREE Felt Pumpkin Labeling Printable
- Sizzix Bigz Die – Pumpkin (Item #A10169)
- Ellison SuperStar Machine Item (#A10800)
Step 1: Use your Ellison Superstar Machine to die cut your Sizzix Bigz Die – Pumpkin die in Kunin® Classic Felt 9” x 12” of orange and pumpkin spice. In this tutorial we will cut portions of each color to create your DIY kid’s felt pumpkin labeling craft!
Step 2: Using a paint stick or glitter glue, outline your pumpkin felt cut. Set aside and allow time to dry.
Step 3: Cut the stem off of your felt pumpkin craft cut of Kunin® Classic Felt 9” x 12” in the color pumpkin spice
Step 4: Use your Ellison Superstar Machine to die cut another Sizzix Bigz Die – Pumpkin die in Kunin® Classic Felt 9” x 12” of orange. Place glue on half of the pumpkin felt cut. Add the pumpkin felt cut with glitter glue on top of the recently cut pumpkin. Press firmly to adhere the two craft cuts together.
Step 5: Print out the FREE Felt Pumpkin Labeling Printable onto card stock. Color the pumpkin seeds as desired.
Step 6: Cut out the printable on the dotted/dashed line.
Step 7: Using a piece of Kunin® Classic Felt 9” x 12” in pirate green, cut some leaves to add to your pumpkin. Adhere a leaf just below the stem and set the extras aside. These will be used for the vine of your pumpkin.
Step 8: Adhere jute cord on the inside of your pumpkin. This cording will be used to represent the strands in your pumpkin.
Step 9: Adhere the seeds to the inside of your pumpkin.
Step 10: Twirl a green pipe cleaner around your finger and adhere to the stem of your pumpkin. Add any extra leaves to the vine.
Step 11: Adhere the labels to the correct parts of your pumpkin. Be sure to also check out How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin? by Margaret McNamara. This craft will have your kids or students so excited about pumpkins that they will want to explore a real pumpkin!
