DIY Craft Felt Thankful Tree

What’s the one holiday that everyone always looks forward to in November? Thanksgiving, of course! Thanksgiving is a time of being thankful, spending time with friends and family, and turkey, of course! Today I am excited to share with you a quick and easy thankful tree craft that is perfect for that centerpiece at the dinner table. Let’s grab our supplies and let’s get started!

You Will Need:
• 9” x 12” craft cut of Kunin® Classic Felt™ in Orange, Red, and Yellow
• Twigs
• Vase or galvanized pitcher
• Yellow, brown, red, and orange cardstock
• Mini Clothespins
• Ellison SureCut Die – Leaves, Tiny – Tiny (Item #13803-TY)
• Ellison SureCut Die – Leaf, Maple #2 – Large (Item #23809-LG)
• Ellison SureCut Die – Leaf, Birch – Large (Item #13801-LG)
• Ellison Prestige Pro Machine

Craft Supplies

1. Using your Ellison Prestige Pro Machine and Ellison SureCut Die – Leaves, Tiny – Tiny (Item #13803-TY) die, die cut a variety of leaves from 9” x 12” craft cuts of Kunin® Classic Felt™ in Red, Yellow, and Orange.

2. Find some twigs that will pair perfectly together to create a full tree. I found the twigs outside, but you can also find some decorative twigs at your local craft store. Adhere the tiny leaves in red, yellow, and orange to your twigs.

3. Using your Ellison Prestige Pro Machine and Ellison SureCut Die – Leaf, Maple #2 – Large (Item #23809-LG) die, die cut a variety of leaves from red, yellow, orange, and brown card stock. Do the same with the Ellison SureCut Die – Leaf, Birch – Large (Item #13801-LG). These leaves will be used to write what you are thankful for.

4. Using a Sharpie marker, write what you are thankful for on the paper die-cut leaves.

5. Clip each paper leaf onto your thankful tree using a mini clothespin. I recommend placing your thankful tree into a vase or galvanized pitcher. Add pumpkins or gourds around the vase or pitcher fill out your table. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
