No Sew Felt and Foam Holiday Projects

One of my favorite techniques is combining foam and felt to create Holiday characters like these pair of Gnomes. You can find them featured this week on Craft Gossip. http://sewing.craftgossip.com/tutorial-no-sew-felt-christmas-gnomes/2017/11/26/. While you check out the Gnomes you can also find some other super cute felt projects there too!

I use STYROFOAM Brand Foam shapes as the base and use an adhesive either low temp glue or Fabri-tac, both adhere immediately when wrapping a foam piece with felt. This technique is easy as basically what ever foam shape being covered, the felt piece is cut a couple of inches larger using the foam piece as a pattern.

This sleepy penguin is made with plush felt. It requires a little more adhesive but is the same basic technique. Full tutorial for this penguin: https://craftsncoffee.com/2015/01/20/dreaming-of-penguin-crafts-heres-how-to-diy-your-own/

You can find many more felt and foam projects at Craftsncoffee.com. Holiday designs to add to your décor or give as gifts. From Santas to snowmen, lots of snowmen, my weakness. Easy projects with a sewn look and a big cuteness factor, just look at these faces!
