It is back-to-school season for many teachers! As we are busy preparing for the upcoming school year and getting our rooms ready, it is important to not forget about student or parent back to school gifts! This gift idea for parents or students is the perfect way to start the school year! Let’s grab our supplies and let’s get crafting!
You Will Need:
- 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™ in Yellow and Candy Pink
- Gray cardstock
- Rolo Candy
- Hershey’s Kisses Candy
- Fiskar Scissors
- Adhesive (Hot glue works the best)
- Free Back-to-School Pencil Printable
Cut 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™ in the color yellow into 4-inch by 4-inch cuts. Cut one-inch strips of 9″ x 12” craft cuts Kunin Classicfelt™ in the color Candy Pink.
Using hot glue, wrap the one-inch strip of Candy Pink felt around the base of the Rolo candy. This will represent the eraser of your pencil. Wrap the 4 in. by 4 in. craft cut of yellow felt around the base of the Rolo candy as well. Adhere a Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss candy to the end of the Rolo candy.
Cut out the FREE printable label and adhere to the felt. This will give your back-to-school gift the final details and make it look like a true pencil!
