There are just something’s that make us go “Ahhh” and smile! Molly Goodall is the creator of the unique children’s clothing brand Little Goodall, with a touch of whimsy and born of practicality she takes Kunin felt products and transforms it into the cutest outerwear for kids. It is outerwear that speaks to a child’s sense of play and imagination plus keeping them cozy and warm at the same time.

When her young son would not wear a coat and hood, utilizing her fashion design background she created original Ferocious Felt Lion coat to inspire him to put his hood up in the cold. “Molly holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons the New School for Design and has a background in children swear, toy design, and fine art. Little Goodall is a family owned business and the line is lovingly made by hand in North Texas.

Where does her inspiration come from? “Little Goodall was inspired by my son. There just isn’t really that much out there clothing-wise for boys, and what is available is often licensed characters. I find children to be very inspiring overall — they are imaginative, uninhibited, guileless, fickle, and over-the-top creative. They will tell you if something is uncomfortable, and if they love something, they will wear it every day until it falls apart. That’s exciting and challenging to me as a designer. Fabric, children’s books (I especially love the This is… series by the artist M. Sasek ), vintage patterns, and travel also get my creative juices flowing.”
