One of the highlights of the CHA (Craft and Hobby) Show www.craftandhobbyshow.org in Anaheim is the Make and Takes. Companies give attendees the opportunity to try out their new products while making a small sample to take away with them. Plus they get to rest their feet for a few moments! Our Design Dream Team was in the booth every day engaging participants with a fun project to try! Pictured above are Laura Kelly Walters with Tanner Bob Bell and Courtney Chambers from www.alittlecraftinyourday.com , Jennifer Priest and Beth Watson.
At the I Love to Create Booth www.ilovetocreate.com their MITI was a lanyard with a pretty felt flower, our felt of course!
There is always a whirlwind of activity at the show. I taped two episodes of WCK, When Creativity Knocks while at the show www.whencreativityknocks.com for their Winter All Star Designer Series. Ana and Scott make it so easy and fun!
One of the youngest and enthusiastic attendees is Jennifer Priest’s son; he is adorable, does crafty videos and loves felt! Here he is showing off his heart, definitely a star! Check out Jennifer’s coverage of the show http://hydrangeahippo.com/2015/01/40-awesome-things-cha-mega-show-2015-part-one/
Around the show Kunin was everywhere or almost everywhere! I designed wings for Elena of Charity Wings www.charitywings.org to wear. Every day of the show she wears a pair of wings uniquely designed for her. In the Designers in Action section I created a display from our new Eco-fi Plus felt. Laura Bray designed a beautiful felt flower button arrangement for the Buttons Galore booth.
So as you can see, the CHA show is filled with creativity, products, techniques and best of all the people who love what they do and share their knowledge and enthusiasm!
Till next time, thanks for stopping by!
